The goal of this project was to create a paper doll with a stand and three clothing options. We were to create an original character to design. 

I began by researching different paper doll designs. However, I kept thinking about an example on the project sheet that was holiday/winter related. I sketched out multiple ideas but landed on a design of an elf. I worked through ideas for clothes and planned each element before working in illustrator. 

Once I started in illustrator, I began by designing the base outfit. I then designed the other outfits around the base so I knew they would fit. I designed a pair of pajamas with a hat and shoes and a santa suit with a hat and shoes. Once I had everything designed, I exported it as a PDF and brought it into procreate to draw around it. 

This project helped me refine my skills with the pathfinder window I had to use it to create holes where the beard is on the clothes. I also continued to refine my skills with the pen tool. Overall I am very happy with the project and how it turned out.
